I really don't know how SBY managed to launch his fourth album this year knowing his frantic schedule and highly demanding tasks as the head of the country.
As for me, I'm still struggling to find my time to record all the songs I've written together with my band, I guess I should learn from SBY on how he managed his time :).
We had around 20 songs now, 10 of them already reviewed by many of my friends and seems promising in terms of offering a fresher angle of music and lyric, economically well I don't know for sure, but the objective is to produce a responsibly good quality music.
The challenge is to keep our dream alive while struggling on a daily basis to finish our jobs at the office, commitment and consistency is really key, which I feel that not all of our band member have the same level of intensity.
My album has been hanging for about three years now, and need to do something fast to have it on air.

The world is becoming paperless, most of data transfers nowadays are done trough digital process. First breath
I've been blessed to witness the great event of giving birth, three of them. Each event is so very spiritual and special at the same time.
The energy, smell, spirit of the event was so overwhelming, and never fail to remind me of how fortunate we are to be born in this world. And the question of will I be able to give my best to my children is always hanging in the deepest corner of my mind.
Ooh well , our presence is short and time surely flies fast.
Bisa bernafas itu luar biasa! It's amazing to barely breath

Internet and our life
It's amazing to think about how significantly different the way we live our life compared to ten years ago. Internet surely becoming a dominant agent of social change by having prominent and widely used social network sites such as facebook and twitter.
All of sudden our social life "has to be digitize" we have to update our status in facebook or update tweet for everything happened in our life. Coupled to that I also noticed that we tend to shortcut our way to conclusion based on bits and pieces of information we received.
The question remains, is this progress shape our society into a better more connected environment? Are the updates and tweets we digest on daily basis really hone us to become better human being?
Back in the 1986, pre social network sites era (in fact nobody is using cellphone at that time) I remember that I got circumcised in my hometown Kuningan, as part of our tradition my family held a big Wayang Golek party to celebrate it. All of relatives and neighbors were helped building the stage, decorating the venue and cooking the meals without expecting something in return.
Come to think of it, it was a beautiful sight to see, hundreds of people working harmoniously in a well orchestrated arrangement working to make the party goes as planned. A great way of life.
Our values change so dramatically, I never see this happen again especially in big city like Jakarta. And really hope that we can use facebook and twitter as a powerful medium to relive our great values inherited by our ancestors.

#berbagibuku berbagi asa
Trans Adonara-Waiwerang, Flotim-NTT.
Thanks all :)
